Thought I’d post a few pictures of the parkway. I have cleaned it up quite a bit. The only things blooming are California poppies (Eschscholzia californica), goldenrod (Solidago canadensis), yarrow (Achillea millefolium), Point St. George aster (Aster chiloensis ‘Point St. George’), California fuchsia (Epilobium species and cultivars), buckwheat (Eriogonum fasciculatum), and of course the summer grasses, deergrass (Muhlenbergia rigens), alkali sacaton (Sporobolus airoides), and cane bluestem (Bothriochloa barbinodis). A little wild, but not a lot of weeds – at least in my eye.

Looks good to me! Love the goldenrod! Big question is whether there will be height limits. Good luck!

BTW, interesting that it's hot down there. It's been really cool all week in the SF Bay are. Foggy mornings, windy days. Well, we don't mind…
It has actually been much cooler than last week, but still gets toasty by mid-day. Can't complain about the weather!
Barbara,
Looks great and all native plants. When you use the word parkway for this I think of a highway or the Blue Ridge Parkway instead of what we easterners call the curb garden.
We have the California Poppies, Goldenrod and Yarrow blooming here on the IoW too – it's a small world.
Randy, curb garden does seem like a better name!
