It is February 27th and I am having the hardest time pulling myself away from Michael Cohen’s testimony to Congress. But this is not a political blog – oh no! And so with all of the willpower that I can muster, I opened my Lightroom file to last week’s wildflower trip to Anza Borrego.
Here are some landscape shots. Most were taken in June Wash, southeast of Agua Caliente County Park. The palm oasis, Mountain Palm Springs, was further SE along S2. The Carizzo Badlands was still further down S2. You can see some of the wildflowers we saw on iNaturalist . Enjoy!

Beautiful images. I haven’t visited Anza Borrego in a long time and this was a reminder of its subtle beauty and sense of space. Thanks.
Thanks, Pamela. It was a beautiful day. We have not visited the southern part of the park in years – very special. Definitely try to make a trip out there. We saw few blooms during our drive but this wash was different.
