Thought I’d also add a pretty picture just for the fun of it. I took it at Rancho last week. It is called summer holly because it gets holly-like berries in the summer time. Looks quite a bit like toyon (Heteromeles arbutifolia), otherwise known as Christmas berry because it gets its red berries… you guessed it.
