Rancho Fall Plant Sale – Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010

I was at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden today helping out with plant sale set up. As always there are an amazing number of weird and wild native plants (and even some non-natives). There are many exciting – to me, that is – bunchgrasses, lots of great plants in 4 inch pots, great bulbs, wildflower seeds and more. I really shouldn’t post this, but one plant I will be going for is the Utah mortonia. I am hoping to grow this amazing desert native in a large pot.

Oh, and Schoener’s Nutkana rose (Rosa ‘Schoener’s Nutkana)

Lots of Desert Museum Palo Verde (Parkinsonia ‘Desert Museum’)

See you tomorrow at the sale.
